Frequently Asked Questions

How should I get my home ready before the service?

You’ll need to leave your home during the dry fog process, so arrange a place for you and your pets to stay. Before the visit, you’ll receive a reminder message with simple prep steps — things like opening closets and shutting windows so the treatment can reach every area.

Should I take down my art or framed pictures?

The fog is completely dry and safe for both art and electronics. Still, if you own valuable pieces, you’re welcome to cover or remove them for extra peace of mind.

Is it okay to leave food or fruit out in the open?

The EverPURE formula we use is FDA-approved for surfaces that touch food. However, if you’d like to keep your fruit tasting fresh, it’s best to pop it into the fridge or a sealed bag during treatment.

When is it safe to come back inside?

Most homes can be re-entered the same day. Treatments usually finish within three to four hours, depending on weather and ventilation. You may notice a light scent when you return, but it fades quickly and is harmless.

Is this treatment safe for people and pets?

Yes. Every product we use is environmentally friendly, non-toxic, and fully approved by the EPA.

Do I have to move furniture or other belongings?

No. Keep your furniture, clothing, and household items where they are. Mold spores hide in fabrics and upholstery, so those items need treatment too.

Will the fog reach inside my walls?

Yes. The dry fog is made of ultra-fine 7.5-micron particles — smaller than mold spores — so it naturally seeps into any area mold can reach. In rare cases, we can drill small holes to treat known problem spots behind walls directly.

Will I need to clean up afterward?

No cleanup is needed. The fog leaves nothing behind, so your home and belongings are clean once the process is done.

Does it get rid of bugs too?

Some customers notice fewer insects afterward, though the product isn’t registered as a pesticide, so we don’t advertise it as one.

What happens to visible mold spots?

The fog kills all active mold but doesn’t remove existing stains. You can safely clean those areas yourself after treatment, or we can handle it for a small extra fee.

How long does the protection last?

If moisture issues are resolved, the results are long-lasting. Homes with normal humidity have stayed mold-free for more than six years, while areas with significant water problems may need retreatment after about 90 days.

Will I get test results after the job is finished?

Yes. Your technician will collect an air sample right after treatment and send it to an independent, accredited lab. Expect your detailed lab report within four to five business days by email.
